RECOGNITION POLICY

The Hooksett School Board acknowledges that staff, students, community members and others
may be recognized in certain circumstances.

1. Merit Recognition:
The Hooksett School Board may wish to give special recognition to individuals who have
demonstrated extraordinary service and accomplishments with a Certificate of Merit, a Letter of
Commendation or a plaque in recognition of their service to the school district.

2. Retiree Recognition:
It shall be the policy of the Hooksett School Board to honor employees in the school district upon
retirement. Retirees will be invited to the first board meeting in June for special recognition and
presentation.
